An injection-molded plastic kit of the Italian self-propelled gun Autocannone 3Ro with the 90/53 gun in 1:35 scale from IBG Models. Besides the detailed truck and the gun, the package also contains a set of four newly designed crew figures, so you have the basis for an impressive diorama scene together in one box.
The 3Ro was an Italian heavy truck with a diesel engine that served in the Second World War as the backbone of supply for the Italian army in North Africa, in the Balkans and on the Eastern Front. Some of the vehicles received a powerful 90 mm anti-aircraft gun of the 90/53 type on the load bed and were thus turned into an improvised but effective self-propelled artillery platform capable of destroying aircraft and armored targets alike.
Use liquid cement for plastic and work in subassemblies. Finish and paint the chassis, the engine compartment and the gun mounting before the surrounding parts make their detail inaccessible. Apply a primer before the finish and lay the paint down with an airbrush. Dust weathering, dried mud on the running gear and finely scuffed edges suit the Italian sand shade beautifully. The crew figures will help bring the whole composition to life.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
