The Eduard 1:35 Jagdpanther Ausf.G2 Schürzen is a photo-etched set of Schürzen side plates in 1:35 scale. It is not a kit of the vehicle but an accessory that replaces thick plastic parts with sheet of scale thickness.

An accessory photo-etched set from the Czech maker Eduard for 1:35 scale. It is not a model of the vehicle but a replacement for the side hanging plates that the Germans called Schürzen. The set is cut for one particular kit, so the shape and the spacing of the hangers match the outline of its hull.
The Schürzen were thin steel plates hung on rails along the sides of the hull. Their task was to set a hit off before it reached the side of the vehicle itself. In 1:35 scale their real thickness is only a fraction of a millimeter, which injection-molded plastic cannot manage technologically; a molded plate tends to be several times thicker and seen at the lower edge and in section that is clearly visible. Photo-etched sheet removes that disproportion and additionally allows what is practically impossible with plastic: bending an individual plate, suggesting a bulge or leaving a plate out altogether, because in service they were commonly lost.
Separate the parts with a scalpel on a hard surface, not by twisting. Longer folds along the whole length of a plate are accurate only in a bender; two blades are enough for short ones. Before painting, degrease the sheet with spirit and apply a thin coat of a primer intended for metal, otherwise the paint holds badly on the smooth surface and rubs off while you handle it. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue, and on long rails a glue with a longer setting time helps, so that you have time to line the part up. Try the hanging of the plates dry before you glue them permanently; the lower edge should be at the same height along its whole length.
This is an accessory set, not a standalone model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
