The Japanese Army Officers plastic figure set from Tamiya in 1:35 scale - four figures with accessories.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic figure set captures a scene of Japanese army officers in conference in the field. It holds four figures, two officers seated at a table over maps and two standing, all in the uniform pattern introduced in 1938. The set also holds a rich selection of scene accessories. Everything is supplied to be glued and painted.
From 1938 the Imperial Japanese Army introduced the new Type 98 uniform, which replaced the older cut. Officers' equipment included swords, map cases and binocular holders. The set captures the kind of staff scene that took place when operations were planned under field conditions.
Tamiya parts tend to fit precisely: cut out the figures and the accessories, clean them up and glue them with cement for plastic. Paint the uniforms in khaki and olive tones; the rank insignia can be added with the enclosed decals. Paint the scene accessories, the table, the chairs and the field telephone, separately and set them in place only after the base coat. Tie the whole scene together with a matte varnish.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
