The two-seat cockpit of the Ju 87 is long and glazed along its whole length, so even a casual visitor to a display case looks into it. The sheet covers the front panel, the side walls of both stations, the controls and the harness straps of the seats. The elements need neither paint nor clear coat, and the kit is sold separately.
The G version came about by modifying later machines of the D series and was meant to answer the growing toughness of Soviet tanks. Two pods with 37 mm cannons were hung under the wings, whose armor-piercing rounds aimed at the weaker armor on the sides and at the rear. The machine lost speed and agility by it and was used practically only where superiority of its own fighters could be counted on. The best-known pilot became Hans-Ulrich Rudel, whose name is tied to this variant to this day. The G version no longer had the dive brakes for diving flight, because it attacked in a shallow dive from low altitude.
Build the cockpit in parts and stick the elements on before you bring the two fuselage halves together. The rear gunner's station tends to be harder to reach, so deal with it first. Flat walls will stand pressure from a soft eraser; at rounded corners work in small sections.
