Eduard 1:35 King Tiger Henschel is a photo-etched detail set for refining plastic models of the German Tiger II heavy tank with the Henschel turret in 1:35 scale. It is an accessory, not a stand-alone model.

A photo-etched detail set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard intended for models of the German Tiger II (King Tiger) heavy tank in the version with the Henschel turret in 1:35 scale. It is not a tank kit, but a set of fine sheet parts that replace and supplement the simplified plastic elements with more accurate etched ones.
The Tiger II, nicknamed the King Tiger (Königstiger), was a German heavy tank of the Second World War with a powerful 88 mm gun and heavily sloped armor. The production version carried a turret of Henschel design with a simpler shape better suited to manufacture. It was one of the most heavily armored and most heavily armed tanks of its day, albeit at the cost of great weight and a strained drive train.
The etched parts are cut from the brass fret with a sharp knife, shaped with a bending tool and bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). They find use on the fenders, the engine deck grilles, the tool clamps and other fine features. Degrease the parts before painting and spray them with a primer.
This is an accessory to a plastic kit, which the set does not replace. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
