Kriegsberichter (1) 1:35 is a single-figure resin set from the brand Bravo 6 - a German war reporter with photographic equipment from the period of the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
A figure on its own cast in resin in 1:35 scale from the brand Bravo 6, the first volume of the range of war reporters. It is not a kit of equipment but a figure intended for a diorama or for display on its own in a display case. The casting is supplied unassembled and unpainted; working resin assumes a certain modeling practice.
The subject is a German war reporter from the period of the Second World War, that is a non-combat role focused on photographic documentation. What is interesting for a modeler is precisely the photographic equipment - the camera in his hands and the bag for the accessories. The stance of the figure matches work with a camera, which plainly sets it apart from the other figures in a scene. The uniform and the carried kit are modeled with fine folds and legible details; the surface of the casting is smooth and calls for only minimal cleaning once the casting block has been removed.
Wash the casting in lukewarm water with detergent, so that the release agent from the mold disappears. Cut the casting block off with a saw or a cutting disc. Glue the divided parts with cyanoacrylate super glue and reinforce the thin joints with a wire pin if needed. Sand wet and with respiratory protection. After a thin primer, paint with acrylics and finish the face and the hands off with oil paints. The photographic equipment deserves particular attention - a combination of a dark matte paint with a fine gloss on the glass of the lens and a careful dry brush on the edges of the metal parts will give the figure its expression.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
