A set of photo-etched metal parts in 1:35 scale from Copper State Models. It is not a standalone model but an upgrade accessory meant to sharpen up and refine the details of a model of the British Lanchester armored car. The photo-etched parts replace or complete the fine items that are hard to cast in plastic or resin.
Photo-etch adds thin, fine details: grilles, grab handles, sheet-metal stiffeners, loops and other items where the thickness of metal looks more realistic than a plastic molding. The set is meant for the matching model of the Lanchester armored car in 1:35 scale.
Separate the photo-etched parts with a sharp knife on a cutting mat or with special nippers, and bend them with a photo-etch bender. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate) or with a two-part adhesive. Before painting it is worth degreasing the metal and spraying it with a primer for better adhesion.
This is an accessory, not a complete model. A matching base kit is needed to build it.
