This plastic kit in 1:35 scale captures the short version (88-inch wheelbase) of the classic British off-road vehicle in the closed Station Wagon form. The model offers a richly structured interior and engine bay, a photo-etched fret and rubber tires. Decals for several color and marking variants are included, as is the option of building the vehicle with right-hand or left-hand drive.
The Land Rover Series IIA was built from the beginning of the 1960s and became a symbol of a tough utility and off-road vehicle. The short-wheelbase 88-inch version was popular for its agility, its simple design and its versatility in civilian and in official service. The Station Wagon body added an enclosed space for the crew and the load.
Join the parts with thin cement for plastic and the photo-etched pieces with cyanoacrylate. Before painting we recommend a primer and spraying with an airbrush for even coverage. A gloss coat under the decals makes them settle more easily and suppresses their edges. It is best to finish the interior and the engine before the body is closed up.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
