A set of metal tracks from Friulmodel for models that share the same type of running gear — the German tank Leopard 1, the anti-aircraft Gepard and the British self-propelled howitzer AS90. It is not a model, but an accessory to your kit. The individual links cast in white metal replace the plastic tracks from the box and give the chassis the weight and the look of real metal.
The Leopard 1 is a postwar German main battle tank, the Flakpanzer Gepard is an anti-aircraft system built on its chassis and the British AS90 is a self-propelled howitzer of 155 mm caliber. All of them share a similar type of track, which the metal set captures.
The links are cast in soft white metal. Before fitting, clean up the small flash with a file, join the parts with the enclosed wire acting as a pin and you get a fully movable track with a natural sag. The metal can be chemically darkened and weathered without conventional painting. We recommend cyanoacrylate.
The tracks are an accessory to a model and are supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
