It is an aftermarket detail set from the Czech maker Eduard, not a standalone model. The photo-etched parts replace the simplified plastic pieces and capture faithfully the mesh structure and the armor features that protect the machine gunner.
The M1151 is the combat variant of the armored HMMWV (Humvee) of the US Army, with strengthened protection and load capacity for weapon systems. The OGPK (Objective Gunner Protection Kit) is an armored turret protecting the gunner; the overhead cover is its upper cover, which guards against fire from above and against shrapnel. The set suits models of modern American wheeled vehicles from the conflicts after 2000.
Separate the parts carefully from the fret with a sharp knife on a hard surface. Shape the bends with a photo-etch bending tool or a metal ruler. Use super glue (cyanoacrylate) for gluing, and gel super glue for accurate placement of the small parts. Degrease the parts before painting and apply a primer.
