It is not a model of a vehicle but a detail accessory for the American M26 Pershing tank with the steel type of track. The individual links are joined with wire pins, so the finished track is fully workable, sags faithfully and gives the model realistic weight and appearance. Wire for the pins and a small reserve of links are in the package.
The M26 Pershing was an American tank committed in the very closing stage of the Second World War and later in Korea. It ranked among the most heavily armed American machines of its day. The steel type of track that this set reproduces is a conspicuous element of its suspension.
