A set of cast stowage for the American M36 tank destroyer in 1:35 scale. It contains equipment, baggage and secured gear shaped to particular areas of the vehicle. On a machine with an open turret the stowage is particularly rewarding, because it was kept inside the turret as well and is therefore visible from above, which is where a viewer looks first on open vehicles.
The M36 was an American tank destroyer with an open turret and a 90 mm gun, that is a weapon able to hit even the heaviest German machines. It was built on a chassis derived from the Sherman and was deployed in the closing stages of the war in Europe. The open turret gave the crew a good view but exposed them to splinters and to the weather.
Wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent, cut the casting blocks off with a saw and try the fit dry. Paint the stowage separately before you seat it. Inside the turret work particularly carefully, because everything is visible there. Set the materials apart by surface and suggest the mounting with thin wire. At the end unify the whole with a dust pigment.
The set is an accessory to a kit and does not replace the kit. Paints, glue and the model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
