1:35 M551 Sheridan metal tracks (Friulmodel) are a workable replacement for the plastic tracks, cast in a metal alloy, for models of the American light tank M551 Sheridan.

An aftermarket set of workable tracks cast in a metal alloy in 1:35 scale. The package holds individual links and wire for making the pins that join the links into a fully articulated track run. It is not a model but a quality accessory replacing the plastic tracks from the box; the metal version gives the running gear real weight and crisp detail.
The set is meant to be swapped for the plastic or segmented tracks on models of the American airborne light tank M551 Sheridan. The vehicle stood out for its light aluminum hull and for its gun/launcher for Shillelagh guided missiles, and it was put into action in Vietnam and later as well. Metal lets the track settle and sag naturally, which you will not reach with stiff plastic without reworking it.
Clean the casting flash off the links, cut the wire into pins and secure the ends with a drop of super glue, so that the middle stays workable. The metal has to be degreased before painting and given a coat of primer for metals. The shade is then tuned with washes and with dust or mud pigments.
This is an accessory, not a model in its own right. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
