Eduard 1:350 railings for the USS Indianapolis (CA-35) is a photo-etched set of fine brass railings for a model of the American heavy cruiser.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a photo-etched accessory, not a ship model. The set contains fine brass railings shaped to the deck outlines of the American heavy cruiser USS Indianapolis (CA-35) in 1:350 scale. It replaces the coarse plastic railings and gives a finished ship an appearance faithful to its scale. The model itself, glue and paints are not included.
The USS Indianapolis was an American heavy cruiser of the Portland class. It became famous among other things for delivering components of the first atomic bomb to Tinian in 1945, after which it was sunk by a Japanese submarine on the return voyage. The loss of the ship and the fate of its survivors are among the best known stories of the closing stage of the Second World War in the Pacific.
The accessory does not include the model, glue or paints.
