A plastic kit of the armored car Marmon-Herrington (e) Panzerspähwagen in 1:35 scale from IBG Models.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Marmon-Herrington armored car in the form it took in German captured-equipment service, in 1:35 scale from the Polish maker IBG Models. The model is meant to be glued and painted and holds parts on several sprues and decal markings.
The Marmon-Herrington was an armored car built in the Union of South Africa and widely used by British and Allied forces in the Second World War, above all in North Africa and in the Middle East. A number of the vehicles fell into the hands of German units, which took them into their own service under the designation Panzerspähwagen with the suffix (e), which referred to the English, that is British, origin of the captured equipment. The vehicle served for reconnaissance and patrol work.
Build wheeled armored vehicles with an emphasis on correct seating of the axles and a level chassis. Fit the parts together dry first, glue with thin cement for plastic and add the fine parts at the end. We recommend a primer, an airbrush for the base shade and weathering with washes and pigments for the dust effects typical of desert service.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
