This is a supplementary set of metal tracks, not a model of the vehicle. It holds individual links cast in white metal, which are joined with wire pins into a fully workable track. It replaces the plastic tracks supplied in the base kit of the British infantry tank Matilda in 1:35 scale; this is the T.D. 5910 link variant, that is a different pattern of track.
The Matilda II was a British infantry tank of the Second World War, famous for its heavy armor and for its service in North Africa. The Matilda was delivered with several types of track over the course of production — this set matches the T.D. 5910 pattern, which differs from the flat type in the shape of the link.
Clean the casting remains off the links, lay them out one behind another and thread through the wire pins that form the joints. The track can be left workable, or tacked in place with super glue once fitted. The metal surface holds paint better once a primer for metal has been sprayed on, and the weight of the links creates a realistic sag.
A supplementary set — it does not hold the model of the vehicle, glue or paints. Meant as an upgrade to a separately bought kit.
