It replaces the plastic wheels from the base kit with more faithfully cast parts. Intended for models of the German truck Mercedes 1500 in 1:35 scale. It is not a vehicle model but an accessory.
The Mercedes-Benz L1500 served the German army as a light truck and staff vehicle. The commercial tread matches casings of the civilian type, the kind that commonly appeared on these vehicles. Resin wheels tend to be cast with a fine deflection of the tire where it meets the road, which gives the finished model the impression of real weight.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut the casting blocks away and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways when sanding resin. Apply a filler primer before painting.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
