The Voyager Model 1:35 photo-etched detail set for the Swedish CV90-40C infantry fighting vehicle with add-on armor is an accessory for a plastic kit you already own, not a model in itself. It is cut for the Hobby Boss 82457 kit and replaces thick plastic shapes with thin brass parts.

This is an aftermarket set of photo-etched brass parts, not a kit of the vehicle. The set serves to detail one particular plastic kit, which you have to own separately; the photo-etched parts are cut and etched exactly to the dimensions of that kit, so you will not transfer them to another model without modification. Voyager Model is a Chinese manufacturer that has long specialized in photo-etched accessories for modern and historical military subjects in 1:35 scale.
Injection-molded plastic has a technological lower limit of thickness. Sheet-metal covers, eyes, brackets and the rims of the add-on armor therefore come out of a kit several times thicker than reality, and seen from the side that is apparent at once. Photo-etched brass is tenths of a millimeter thick, so an edge stays an edge even after painting. On a vehicle whose appearance is largely made up of surface panels and add-on features, that is the most visible improvement possible.
The CV90 is a family of Swedish tracked infantry fighting vehicles developed from the late 1980s. The version designated 40C carries main armament of 40 mm caliber and is supplemented with add-on armor raising protection around the vehicle; in this configuration the vehicles were used on overseas deployments. The vehicle has a characteristically low, angular silhouette with pronounced panels on the sides and the turret.
Cut the parts off the fret with a sharp scalpel on a hard surface rather than with nippers. Make the bends in a bending tool or between two razor blades, always on the marked groove and in one stroke. Glue with thin cyanoacrylate applied with a pin, not straight from the bottle. Before painting, degrease all the photo-etched parts and cover them with a thin primer for metal, otherwise the paint does not hold on smooth brass and rubs off during handling. The parts are shaped for the Hobby Boss 82457 kit.
The set is an accessory for a plastic kit, which it does not include. The glue, paints and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
