This set from the Polish manufacturer Mirage Hobby is an injection-molded plastic kit of a diorama accessory in 1:35 scale. From it you will put together a wooden bridge with a beam structure, a planked deck and a railing. It is not a model of a vehicle but a scenic feature that gives a diorama action and scale.
Simple wooden bridges were part of ordinary rural infrastructure, and at the front they served as improvised crossings over streams, ditches and ravines. They are a rewarding motif for scenes with infantry as well as light equipment.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic. You will help the texture of the wood with fine engraving and a dry brush in several shades of brown and gray. Washes and pigments will give it a weathered, damp look; moss and grass at the piers will finish the scene off.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
