An injection-molded plastic kit from the manufacturer Zvezda in 1:35 scale, capturing the Soviet and Russian light tracked amphibious armored personnel carrier and tractor MT-LB. The exact number of parts and decal schemes cannot be stated here with certainty - the instructions in the package are binding.
The MT-LB (in Russian Mnogocelevoy Tyagach Lyogkiy Bronirovannyy, that is, multipurpose light armored tractor) is a universal tracked vehicle that arose in the Soviet Union in the 1960s. A low, lightly armored hull, a large internal space and low ground pressure make it an exceptionally versatile machine: it serves as a troop carrier, an artillery tractor, a weapon carrier and a chassis for dozens of superstructures. Thanks to its amphibious capability it crosses water obstacles by means of the movement of its tracks. For its reliability in rough terrain and mud (the nickname Motolyga) it remains to this day among the most widespread tracked vehicles in the world.
Assemble and paint the tracks and the running gear before you fit the side panels and the accessories. Apply a primer and then the base shade (typically Russian green) with an airbrush. Credibility will come from modulation of the shade, dark washes into the recesses, rubbing on the edges and rich mud and dust pigments on the tracks and the underside - the MT-LB is famous for moving through rough terrain and mud.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
