A single cast figure in 1:35 scale from the scene the manufacturer called a musical break. It is not a vehicle kit and not a set of several figures: the box holds one figure, which is added to a scene of your own. It is exactly subjects like this, where someone is not fighting but resting or enjoying themselves, that give a diorama the human dimension equipment on its own can never supply.
Scenes of rest are among the most rewarding in diorama work, because a viewer reacts to them differently than to a combat scene. A figure absorbed in music tells of the time between actions, that is of what made up most of life in a unit. On a diorama it can stand beside a vehicle, on a crate, on a step or in a corner of the scene, and it changes the whole reading at once.
First wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent so that the mold release agent residue disappears, otherwise the paint will not hold. Cut the casting blocks off and sand the marks down; do the sanding with respiratory protection. It is bonded with super glue, that is cyanoacrylate. Apply a primer before painting. On figures in this scale the face decides everything: work in thin coats, put the shadow into the eye sockets and under the chin and the light on the forehead, the nose and the cheekbones. Grade the uniform, because single-color fabric looks flat.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
