Eduard 1:35 Nakajima B5N2 Kate, STEEL seat belts

Color photo-etched seat belts from the STEEL range by the Czech manufacturer Eduard, intended for a model of the Japanese carrier bomber Nakajima B5N2 Type 97 Kate in 1:35 scale. The STEEL range combines pre-printed color etched belts with thin, flexible steel sheet, which shapes better and looks more convincing.

The real subject

The B5N2 Kate was the standard torpedo and attack bomber of the Imperial Japanese Navy in the early phase of the war in the Pacific. Realistic belts in the cockpit bring the interior of the model to life considerably.

Use and tips

  • The parts are already printed in color and do not have to be painted.
  • The steel sheet bends well and drapes naturally over the seat.
  • Glue with a small amount of cyanoacrylate glue.
  • An ideal complement to a detailed interior set.
