The belts are printed in several layers on flexible film, so they look three-dimensional and pliable and can be draped over the seats or modeled into a realistic sag. The package holds 2 sets. It is neither photo-etch nor resin but an accessory for refining the interior of Mercedes-Benz military vehicles used in NATO armies. The set is universal, conceived for use across models.
Seat belts are a conspicuous feature of the interior of modern military vehicles, and on ordinary kits they tend to be simplified or missing. This set replaces them with realistically done colored belts with buckles, which bring the cab to life and add to its credibility.
The features are released from the film in lukewarm water and transferred into place like wet decals, or glued. The flexible layer lets a belt bend naturally and follow the shape of a seat. Work with plenty of water and, if need be, fix the joints with a softener or a drop of clear varnish. The pre-printed colors call for no painting.
This is an add-on set of decals, not a kit of a vehicle. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
