1:35 Navy SEALs N°2 is a resin figure of a US Navy SEAL in modern kit, the second version of the series.

The casting captures one man in contemporary combat kit and within the series it is carried as the second version. Resin holds crisper edges and finer surfaces than injection-molded plastic, so the folds of the fabric, the straps of the carrying system and the small items on the belt all stand out on the figure. In height it matches hardware and accessories built to a ratio of 1:35.
A single figure can give a diorama what the hardware on its own cannot: a point of comparison for size and a direction for the eye. Set beside the flank of a vehicle or the bow of a boat it tells the viewer at once how large the machine is, and the turn of its head leads the eye to what is meant to be the main thing. Place the figure so that its gaze points to the motif that should be the most important in the scene. In a small display case it is also easier to set than a whole group.
Wash the figure in warm soapy water so that the mold release residue disappears. Cut off the casting blocks with a thin saw, level the faces and protect your airways when sanding. Cyanoacrylate glue holds the joints; resin does not react to ordinary plastic cement. A light gray filler primer reveals any remaining scratches and at the same time unifies the surface under the covering coats.
