1:35 M-3 Grant is a combined Big Ed detail set from Eduard for a plastic kit of the M3 Grant medium tank in 1:35 scale. It holds photo-etched parts; it is not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
Big Ed is a set of several separate Eduard photo-etched sets brought together in one box for a particular kit of the M3 Grant medium tank in 1:35 scale. It is not a vehicle model but a set of accessories. It usually takes in photo-etched parts for the exterior (grilles, fenders, grab handles, tools and hull details) and for the interior or the running gear, depending on how the set is made up.
The M3 Grant was a medium tank used by the British Army, derived from the American M3 type with a reworked turret adapted to British requirements. Its characteristic feature was the combined armament: a larger-caliber gun in a side sponson mount in the hull and a smaller gun in a rotating turret. The Grant made its mark above all in the fighting in North Africa.
Separate the photo-etched parts carefully from the fret and bend them on a firm surface, ideally with a photo-etch bending tool. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Finish the running gear and the details of the hull before you close the whole thing up; washes and pigments are the thing for weathering with mud and dust effects.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
