Responsibility details are not available.
A set of window fittings for a diorama in 1:35 scale. It holds three complete windows made up of twenty-four resin parts in all, complemented by film for glazing. It is not a kit of a building but an accessory with which a structure or a ruin of your own is completed.
A window is the thing on a building that a viewer notices first. An empty opening in a wall reads as scenery, whereas a window with a frame, a reveal and glass shows that the structure is real and that there is space behind it. In wartime scenes it adds one more dimension: whether it is glazed, smashed or boarded up tells what happened in the place.
First wash the resin parts in lukewarm soapy water and let them dry. Cut the casting blocks off and level the area, and protect your breathing while sanding. Paint the frame before you set the film in, because once glazed you will no longer reach it with a brush. Let the glass get slightly dirty, as a clean window among ruins does not look convincing. A crack in the glass is suggested with a thin score from the point of a needle on the back of the film.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted; glue and paints are not included in the box.
