Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German light tank Panzerkampfwagen II in the Ausf. A, B and C versions (Sd.Kfz. 121) in 1:35 scale from Tamiya. According to the manufacturer, the interchangeable armor parts let you build several early variants, and the box contains photo-etched parts, a commander figure and several marking options.
The Panzerkampfwagen II was a German light tank armed with a 2 cm cannon and a machine gun. It grew out of the concept of the smaller Panzer I and was originally meant to serve only as a stopgap type until heavier tanks were available. Even so, in the Ausf. A to C versions it became one of the main tanks of the Wehrmacht in the campaigns into Poland and France at the beginning of the Second World War. The early versions differed above all in their running gear and in minor design changes.
Work with thin cement for plastic and proceed in subassemblies; finish the running gear and the interior before you close up the hull. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Lay down a primer before painting and apply the paints with an airbrush. A uniform gray (Panzergrau) is typical of early German machines; you create the weathering with washes into the recesses and dust pigments on the running gear and the fenders.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
