The model depicts the tank with the long gun barrel and is engineered with Tamiya's typical precision and excellent part fit. The package includes plastic parts, a decal sheet, and other accessories as described in the instructions.
The Panzer IV was the backbone of the German armored forces throughout the Second World War. The Ausf.G version brought a re-armament with the long KwK 40 gun barrel, which significantly increased anti-armor performance after the short guns of earlier versions proved inadequate against Soviet tanks. The tank served on all fronts.
We recommend assembling and painting the running gear and road wheels before completing the hull. Glue with thin liquid cement for plastic. For an authentic weathered look, apply a primer coat, a base shade with the airbrush, and then washes and pigments to bring out the running gear and dust and mud effects.
