Decals for Polish armor and armored cars in Italy in 1:35 scale from Star Decals. The third part of the line on the Polish units between 1943 and 1945.
Responsibility details are not available.
The third part of the line on the Polish units in the Italian theater differs from the previous ones in that it does not deal with tanks but with mixed armor and armored cars. The sheet holds markings for a finished and painted model; on its own it is not a kit and not a plastic accessory. The 1:35 scale matches the ordinary range of models of wheeled and tracked hardware, so you can use the set across several types of vehicle.
Armored cars had a different role in armored units from tanks. They served mainly for reconnaissance, liaison and securing an advance, they were faster and lighter and their crews kept further away from direct combat. The Polish units in Italy operated within the British structure and their vehicles therefore combined the British system of tactical markings with national insignia of their own. It is precisely the variety of the vehicle park that makes mixed sheets an interesting accessory for a whole group of models.
Wheeled hardware has smaller and more curved areas than a tank, above all on the fenders, the hoods and the sides of bodies. Choose a place for every marking where the area stays flat, and even it out with gloss varnish in advance. Go by the manufacturer's instructions while applying and even the finished model out with a matte varnish. Only then comes the dust in the wheel wells and on the fenders, which suits wheeled hardware best of all.
