This is a single figure in 1:35 scale in resin, set thematically in a world after the collapse of civilization. The sequence number No. 1 in the name marks the first piece of a numbered pair; the second figure is sold separately and the two can be stood side by side. The casting comes in the shade of the material and waits for your palette.
This genre gives a modeler a freedom that a historical scene never offers: nobody is going to check your shade against a period chart. What decides the result is the storytelling, torn fabric, improvised kit, wear that came from time rather than from combat. The figure suits the ruins of buildings, overturned vehicles and hardware you have converted on your own.
First a thorough wash and drying, then cutting off the casting remains and fine sanding of the parting seams. Cyanoacrylate glue will secure the joining, and small gaps can be filled with putty. When painting, an earthy base palette with one saturated accent works well; a red scarf or a blue jacket holds the viewer's eye and the rest of the figure can stay dusty and faded. A dry brush and pigments on the lower part of the legs will give the scene weight.
