Printed leaded glass window fillings for a diorama in 1:35 scale. A quick way to fill the windows of a model of a building.
Responsibility details are not available.
Assembled glazing of lead panes is a detail that a viewer connects with the age of a structure before he has read the caption. It appears on country buildings, on city houses and in sacred spaces, and in modeling scale it is one of the elements whose making by hand costs a disproportionate amount of time.
This is a printed accessory for a diorama in 1:35 scale with a subject of glazing of that kind. It saves cutting out a grid and gives a window a finished look straight away. How many fillings belong to the item, what dimensions they have and how they are fitted are given in the manufacturer's instructions; the designation of the individual items tells them apart inside the range.
A sharp blade, tweezers, a soft brush for dust and the glue recommended in the manufacturer's instructions are enough. Put the filling against the opening dry first and only then fix it; the glue belongs around the perimeter and in a thin layer, so that it leaves no stains in the face area. Take hold of the accessory with tweezers or by the edge; fingerprints are harder to get off the area than dust. Protect the finished window from damp.
It suits modelers who build buildings as well as equipment and figures on a diorama and do not want to spend a whole evening on the windows. The work is so straightforward that even a modeler with no experience of accessory sets can reach for it.
The scope of the delivery is not stated here. Paints, glue and tools are not added to the accessory, unless stated otherwise.
