A diorama accessory, not a kit. The sheet (roughly A5 in format) carries a realistic print of white marble floor tiles produced at high quality on paper. It serves to create an interior floor on dioramas in 1:35 scale quickly and convincingly.
You cut the sheet to the size you need and glue it onto a flat floor surface. For a longer life and a better look, giving the paper a clear coat once it is glued down is recommended; a matte coat suppresses the sheen of the paper, while satin or gloss brings out the impression of polished marble. The joints and the edges can be brought out with a fine wash.
Lay the tiling out before gluing so that the pattern continues; the transitions at the walls and at the furniture can be hidden with moldings or a baseboard. Light soiling and wear will give the floor real signs of use.
This is an accessory for a diorama; the base surface, glue and clear coat are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
