Responsibility details are not available.
A printed accessory from the RT-Diorama range meant for dioramas in 1:35 scale. The subject is pictures and paintings, that is the small decoration with which the walls of an interior are livened up. It is not a kit and not a model on its own; the accessory comes into its own at the moment the room already stands and is missing what turns a bare wall into a lived-in space.
An empty wall on a model comes across as a set piece. Yet one picture at the right height is enough and the viewer immediately imagines that somebody lived, worked or held office here. A simple conversion helps as well: an adult figure is roughly five centimeters in 1:35 scale, so eye level lies a little below that mark and a picture belongs at about the same height. When the decoration is placed too high, the whole interior falls out of true to the eye.
The set will serve builders of interior dioramas and vignettes in 1:35 scale who want to make a room lived in, and modelers who build a scene with a believable setting around equipment and figures.
