A printed diorama accessory in 1:35 scale. It is not a kit but a flat wooden floor pattern meant to be laid into the interior of a structure, into the open shell of a house or under the figures in a scene. Imitating a floor by hand is lengthy work: every plank has to be suggested by scribing, the seams have to have a constant spacing and the shade is tuned so that no two neighboring planks are the same. A printed area skips that stage and leaves a modeler time for what is more visible in a scene.
A plank floor comes into its own in the upper stories and in an attic, where wood used to be more usual than tiling, and just as much in corridors and on stair landings. It serves well where the roof has been torn away and the interior is visible from above too - in a scene like that the floor is the main area the observer's eye looks at. The range is numbered, so several versions can be used side by side in one diorama.
It is meant for builders of dioramas and vignettes in 1:35 scale and for figure modelers who want a believable base under their figures. Working with it is undemanding and even a modeler building an interior for the first time will manage it.
