An injection-molded plastic kit of the German command tank based on the Panzer III in 1:35 scale. Border Model offers the kit as 2 in 1 - so you can build two configurations of the subject. In the box you will find a metal barrel, photo-etched and turned metal parts, the Schürzen side armor plates, hatches that can be built open or closed, and decals for several marking options.
The Panzerbefehlswagen III was the command version of the Panzer III medium tank. It differed from the combat machine mainly in its extended radio equipment, which allowed an armored unit to be commanded in the field. Unlike the older command versions, the Ausf.K carried a full rotating turret with a gun rather than just a dummy barrel. The Schürzen - additional side plates - protected the sides of the hull and turret against anti-tank rifles and shaped-charge ammunition. Command Panzer IIIs moved at the head of their units, so they make a rewarding subject with a rich fit of antennas.
Decide in advance which of the two 2 in 1 variants you are building - they differ in detail and it is best not to mix them. Deal with the running gear before you close the hull. Glue with thin cement for plastic, degrease the metal barrel and coat it with a primer for metal, and fit the photo-etched and turned parts with cyanoacrylate glue. Paint the Schürzen side plates separately and do not forget the rubbed edges and rust. Paint with an airbrush, then washes into the lines and dust and mud pigments on the running gear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
Excelente, al final queda un carro original y atractivo, cuajado de antenas. Las cadenas viene por tramos, y eslabones individuales para las ruedas, y lo prefiero a tener que montar todos los eslabones sueltos. Muy recomendable.
