An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:35 scale from the Japanese company Tamiya that combines an early-production German medium tank Pz.Kpfw.IV Ausf.G with a motorcycle and figures into a single Eastern Front scene. The long-barreled tank is joined by a commander and crew figures, spare track links on the front of the hull, and a tarpaulin on the fender. The two-stroke motorcycle served for reconnaissance and liaison duties and, together with the figures, lets you build a small diorama scene.
The Pz.Kpfw.IV was the main medium tank of the German army. The Ausf.G version was the first to receive the long gun barrel, which improved its anti-armor performance against Soviet T-34 and KV-1 tanks. It was deployed on the Eastern Front from 1942.
Finish the running gear before closing the hull. For an accurate weathered look, use washes and pigments for mud and dust effects. Bring the figures and the motorcycle to life with separate painting and fine detail highlighting.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints, and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
