This resin set from the Polish maker PANZER ART brings, in 1:35 scale, a complete set of road wheels for a model of the early German Panzer II light tank in the Ausf. a development form. It is not a tank kit but a detail conversion set replacing the wheels of the running gear.
The early versions of the Panzer II differed from the later forms in the arrangement and shape of the road wheels. PANZER ART captures this specific variant faithfully, including the fine pattern of the rim, the bolts and the hub, which tend to be simplified on plastic parts. The set makes it possible to capture the appearance of a particular development batch precisely.
Wash the parts clean of mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Glue with super glue (cyanoacrylate). We recommend painting the wheels before fitting them to the running gear; pick the rubber tires out in a dark color, bring out the metal parts with a dry brush and fine-tune dust and mud with pigments.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the model itself are not included in the package.
