1:35 Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. F1 - a plastic kit of the German medium tank with the short 75 mm gun from the maker Border Model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A plastic kit of the German medium tank Panzer IV in the Ausf. F1 version in 1:35 scale from the maker Border Model. The Panzer IV was the only German tank built throughout the whole of the Second World War, and the F1 version represents the peak of its early form with the short barrel.
The Ausf. F was built in the years 1941 to 1942 and, against the older versions, it was given strengthened frontal armor 50 mm thick in one piece, wider tracks of 400 mm and reworked stowed equipment. The armament was the short 75 mm KwK 37 L/24 gun, intended above all for the support of infantry. Once the long-barreled version with the KwK 40 gun was introduced, the original machines began to be designated F1. The type served on the Eastern Front and in North Africa.
Complete and paint the running gear and the tracks before you close the hull up - they are hard to reach later. Large flat surfaces will benefit from color modulation or a gentle lightening of the centers of the panels. The details will be picked out by a dark wash flowing into the rivets and the welds; dust and mud pigments matching the deployment of the machine suit the running gear and the underside of the hull.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
