Dragon 1:35 Red Devils (Arnhem 1944) is a plastic figure set of British paratroopers from Operation Market Garden.
Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic figure set in 1:35 scale from Dragon captures the British paratroopers nicknamed the Red Devils during the fighting at Arnhem in the autumn of 1944. The set contains four figures with period gear and armament and is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
Members of the British airborne units earned the nickname Red Devils. At Arnhem in the Netherlands in September 1944 they took part in the Allied Operation Market Garden, whose aim was to seize a chain of bridges. The fight for the distant Arnhem bridge became one of the hardest episodes of the paratroopers in the Second World War. The figures match the typical gear of a British paratrooper of this period.
Cut the parts from the sprues with a sharp knife and clean them up with a file; glue them with thin cement for plastic. For a natural look of the uniforms, airbrushing complemented by khaki and olive tones suits well, with the edges lightened using a dry brush and a fine wash in the folds of the cloth. Bring the faces and the gear to life with accents and pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
