This resin accessory in 1:35 scale is not a model in its own right but a set of replacement road wheels in the cast pattern for the Soviet KV-1 and KV-2 heavy tanks. The castings offer sharper detail on the cast surface and on the hubs than ordinary plastic parts.
The KV-1 and the KV-2 were Soviet heavy tanks of the early Second World War, named after Kliment Voroshilov. Their massive running gear carried a markedly heavy hull and turret; the wheels were made in several forms, among them the characteristic cast pattern that this set reproduces.
Wash the resin parts free of release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces. Glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and protect your airways while sanding. Bring out the cast surface with a dry brush and suggest the wear and the mud with pigments.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
