A collapsed house on a ground in 1:35 scale. A ready scenic ground for a diorama, which only needs figures, hardware and terrain accessories joined to it.
Responsibility details are not available.
The subject is a demolished house worked up on a common ground. A damaged structure offers a modeler more views than an intact building: the interior stays accessible, the outlines of the walls break up and the rubble forms a natural transition between the house and the surrounding terrain. It is precisely these breaks that carry the action in a diorama, because movement of figures or the passage of a vehicle can be played out around them. The 1:35 scale matches the most common figures and models of hardware.
The structure and the ground form one whole, so the display has a firm area and a frame from the start. The most laborious part of building a diorama thereby falls away, that is the preparation of a base and of rough terrain.
Before painting, clean the dust and grease off the surface and let it dry. A base coat will even the shade out and improve the adhesion of the further layers. Ruins suit a restrained palette: a continuous light base, a dark glaze flowing into the joints and the corners, a dry brush on the edges of the breaks and finally pigments to settle the dust and the grit at the foot of the masonry. Sharp white breaks look more believable when you tone them down slightly. Choose the glue according to the material of the part and check the particular procedure in the manufacturer's instructions.
The part will be appreciated by modelers who want to give figures and hardware a setting without building terrain themselves, and by more experienced builders too, for whom it will serve as the starting point of a larger composition. Paints, pigments and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
