This injection-molded plastic kit from Trumpeter presents the Soviet self-propelled BM-21 Grad rocket launcher in 1:35 scale. The weapon system is set on an off-road truck chassis, and the model faithfully captures the cab, the body, the wheels with their off-road tread and the set of launch tubes for the rockets. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The BM-21 Grad is a Soviet rocket launcher of 122 mm caliber with a large number of launch tubes, which allow a salvo of rockets to be fired at area targets within a short time. The system is carried on a wheeled truck with high mobility, and from the 1960s it spread to many armies all over the world.
Assemble and paint the chassis, the axles and the cab before fitting the firing system. The launch tubes of the rocket launcher call for careful alignment. Glue the plastic parts with thin cement, after the base coat choose a single-color military shade and round the underside out with mud and dust effects.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
