An injection-molded plastic kit in 1:35 scale from Amusing Hobby. The model captures the T-90AK command version, that is the T-90A tank with added command equipment and the PTK set. The kit is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The T-90A is a modernized Russian main battle tank of the T-90 family, descended from the T-72 design line. It carries a 125 mm smoothbore gun, composite and reactive armor and a modern fire control system. The T-90AK command variant additionally has extended communications and navigation equipment and further fittings so that it can command a unit in the field. It is precisely the extra antennas and command equipment that set the command tank apart from the ordinary combat version.
On armored vehicles, finish and paint the running gear before you close the hull. Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic and the fine accessories and antennas with cyanoacrylate glue. Apply a primer and paint with an airbrush; a three-color camouflage or a uniform green shade is typical of modern Russian equipment. Bring out the broken surface of the reactive armor with dry brushing, the recesses with a dark wash, and dust the running gear down with dust and mud pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
