Sand Armor for IDF M113 APC is a resin accessory in 1:35 scale – added sand armor for models of the armored personnel carrier M113 in Israeli army form. It is not a vehicle kit but a set of parts for improving a finished model.

This is a resin upgrade set, not a vehicle model. The set contains parts of the added armor that the Israelis fitted to M113 carriers after delivery for better protection of the crew. You fit it to an already built plastic model of the M113 and markedly raise both its appearance and its fidelity. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
The added armor represents the characteristic extra plates on the sides and the front of the hull that machines in Israeli service carried. A resin casting offers crisper detail of the surface, the rivets and the edges than injection-molded plastic usually does.
First wash the mold release residue off the parts, carefully cut the casting blocks away and sand the surfaces. Bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate), and sand resin with respiratory protection. Before gluing, check the fit on your particular model and offer the parts up dry.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
