A photo-etched detail set in 1:35 scale from the Czech maker Hauler, meant for models of the German Sd.Kfz. 234/2 Puma heavy armored reconnaissance car. It is not a model but a set of fine brass parts that replace thick plastic elements and add realistic detail to the hull and the turret alike. The photo-etched sheet is cut for the Italeri kit.
The Puma was an eight-wheeled heavy armored car with a rotating turret and a 5 cm gun, committed to long-range reconnaissance at the close of the Second World War. The combination of high speed, range and decent firepower made it one of the most capable machines of its category.
Cut the photo-etched parts off the fret, bend them along the engraved lines and glue them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Degrease the brass before painting and go over it with a primer. On a wheeled car washes and pigments stand out: dust on the upper surfaces and mud effects on the chassis.
This is a photo-etched accessory, not a model in its own right. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
