This is not a standalone kit but a resin detail set. It contains 3D printed parts of the radio equipment for the command variant of the German medium half-track armored personnel carrier Sd.Kfz.251/6 in 1:35 scale. The parts refine and complete the fitting out of the fighting compartment and replace the coarser plastic equipment that tends to be part of a base kit.
The Sd.Kfz.251/6 was the command version of the widespread Hanomag half-track. It served as a mobile command and signals post for higher commanders, which is why it carried large radio sets and extended antenna equipment. A faithful rendering of the interior with the radio sets is key for this type of vehicle, because the fighting compartment tends to be clearly visible on models.
First wash the parts in lukewarm water with detergent to remove the residues of mold release agent. Cut the casting blocks off with a saw or a knife and sand the surfaces with protection of the airways. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Spraying the parts with a base color before inserting them into the model is recommended.
The set is an accessory, not a complete model. It does not contain the vehicle itself, glue or paints. It is intended to improve the corresponding base model.
