Soviet commander in combat, Second World War (1941–1943), Set 2 (1:35) is a resin figure from Evolution Miniatures in a dynamic combat pose.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin figure in 1:35 scale capturing a Soviet commander in a dynamic combat pose from the early period of the Eastern Front (1941 to 1943). It is a collector's casting for more experienced modelers, supplied as a resin kit to be assembled and painted. It suits action dioramas as well as a striking figure on its own.
The early period of the fighting on the Eastern Front between 1941 and 1943 was for the Red Army a time of hard fighting, both in retreat and in counterattack. The figure of a commander leading soldiers into combat is a typical subject of this stretch of the war; the dress matches the early period, before shoulder boards came into wider use.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean them up. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and protect your breathing when sanding resin. The dynamic pose will come out once the primer is sprayed on, with shading and highlighting of the folds of the uniform; fine-tune the skin and the details with paints for figures.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
