A figure on its own cast in resin in 1:35 scale from the brand Bravo 6. It is not a kit of equipment but a figure intended for a diorama or for completing a finished model of a vehicle. The casting is supplied unassembled and unpainted; resin is worked differently from injection-molded plastic, so the set is suitable rather for more experienced modelers.
The figure represents a Soviet soldier carrying captured single-shot antitank weapons of the Panzerfaust type, dated by the manufacturer to the years 1943 to 1945. The carried weapons are a characteristic feature of the figure and at the same time a good guide for placing it in a scene - it suits scenes in a built-up area or beside damaged equipment. The uniform and the kit match the period stated, the folds of the cloth are modeled softly and the small details, such as the straps and the pouches, are plainly legible once the casting block has been removed.
Wash the casting in lukewarm water with detergent, so that the release agent from the mold disappears. Cut the casting block off with a saw or a cutting disc and never break it away. Glue the divided parts with cyanoacrylate super glue; the thin parts of the carried weapons are fragile, so be careful while handling them. Sand wet and with respiratory protection. After a thin primer, paint with acrylics and finish the skin and the face off with oil paints. Pick the metal and wooden parts of the carried kit out with a dark wash and a fine dry brush, so that they are set apart from the cloth of the uniform.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and a base are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
