An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet T-64B main battle tank in its 1975 form, in 1:35 scale from Trumpeter. The package holds a great many plastic parts and photo-etched parts for the finer detail.
The T-64 was a Soviet main battle tank that was among the first to introduce the combination of composite armor, automatic loading and a 125 mm gun. The T-64B version brought an improved fire control system and the ability to launch anti-tank guided missiles through the barrel. The tank formed the elite part of the Soviet armored forces of the Cold War.
We recommend finishing the running gear and the lower hull before you close up the upper areas and the turret. Use thin modeling cement on the plastic and spray over a base coat with an airbrush. You will bring the Soviet green to life with washes, filters and dust pigments for realistic weathering.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
