HGW 1:35 Spitfire Mk.V, Basic Line

A detail set of the Basic Line from the manufacturer HGW for models of the Supermarine Spitfire Mk.V fighter in 1:35 scale. The set combines fabric safety belts with photo-etched metal buckles and painting masks. The fabric belts are made of a fine microfiber weave, so once assembled they look soft and realistic, better than stiff plastic or merely photo-etched belts.

Use

  • Separate the photo-etched buckles carefully from the fret and bend them according to the instructions.
  • Thread the fabric belts through the buckles and arrange them into a natural shape in the seat.
  • Use the enclosed masks for spraying the glazing or the markings.
  • The belts can be toned and weathered for a more faithful look.
